Jan. 3rd, 2010 06:29 pmWow. I got totally sucked in to reading fanfics again. Like, to an embarrassing degree. All the stuff from the fic exchange has been awesome, and the stories I've read over at the Pit have been pretty good (I'm sticking to known authors).
And I have another Mir/San percolating!

scribefigaro's Steel and Salt, my mind has just totally been in the gutter. While that's a fun and distracting place to be, it's a bit of a departure for my normal Mir/San ficcies. Oh well. It's still in the "rattling around in my head" phase where I work out the details and it's unknown if I'll ever write it down or post it.
I've been having the same kind of problem of only coming up with somewhat graphic and unrealistic sex tiemz when I write for Full Metal Panic, too. I just adore my OTP so much that I can't seem to keep their pants on when they're around one another. I have this long, awful fic in my head in this fandom that is pretty much all related in some way to love and sex and desire and I probably won't ever write because it really is just that awful.
I'm finding that writing lemons (or limes?) is how I'm rewarding characters who have had hard lives. Sango's sad? She should have awesome sex with Miroku 'cause you know he'd be good! Sousuke's lived his entire life without really ever experiencing happiness? Kaname is beautiful and "gets him" and would probably be a wildcat in the sack. That will make him feel better!
I was afraid of this when I considered rejoining the fandom, of getting too involved. What I didn't expect is that I've got slutty little plot bunnies hopping around me demanding I write about teh sexxors. Oh well. One takes whatever plot bunnies one can get, I guess.
