Back in town. Ugh. I'm still exhausted. I caught a Christmas cold that I have happily passed on to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
scribefigaro . So we're both stuffy and cough-y and blah today.
We have some Inuyashas to catch up on. I hope they're inspiring. I have the beginning to my fic, but I'm still struggling with the tone. The ending I want is really kind of dark, but I have it set up with light hearted flashbacks and the whole effect is a bit too jarring. Plus, the dark ending has a lot of associated questions that a) I don't want to delve into after I've ended the story, and b) would affect the main characters a little too much and I'm trying to fit the story into a specific place within the canon. So it looks as though I'll have to lighten the ending. *shrug*
Hmm.
I could either write my fic or work on my dissertation.
I think I'll play my new game. ;-P
