The reviews are in!
Aug. 9th, 2006 07:10 pmI got my teaching evaluations back. It turns out I am beloved by my students.
Excellent.
Actually, it appears that two of them didn't like me at all. But other than them, very nice evaluations (that I have called "reviews" more than once out loud).
On the 32 questions asking about the class in general where students answered from 1 (very poor) to 5 (excellent), all of my averages are above 4. Highest was "Examinations/graded materials were returned in a timely manner," followed by "Instructor was adequately accessible to students during office hours or after class."
So that totally made my whole week.
The feeling lasted for all of 2 hours before the furniture company called and said they're NOT coming tomorrow.
*sob*
I've spent the last 2 hours on the phone yelling and crying and basically swearing at the customer service people. I think I've managed to track down a sofa (though not the one I wanted) and will have it tomorrow or Friday.
Motherfuckers.
