Feeling better.

I am too idealistic.  I try and compensate for this with a healthy dose of cynicism about things in my everyday life.  I think my problems last week were the result of not being pessimistic enough in the weeks before and having reality suddenly come crashing down on my head.  I'm handling it better now.

Main lesson learned:  Never go against the mother when it comes to trading war stories.  She.  Always.  Wins.
