to stop leaving things until the last minute. Leaving
tomorrow. Leaving the city today. Need funding for November
stuff done yesterday.
I booked the hotel with a nice, quiet, fellow student who does not smoke. It's all on my credit card. 4 nights for 2 people. So I had a mild panic attack at the thought of an over $800 charge on my already huge credit card bill for next month. Seriously. I had a hot flash, began to sweat, and had to put my head between my knees.
Then I had to buy the plane ticket at $300 and almost cried.
I just spent $1100 in less than an hour. My new roommie will pay me back when I'm back in town and I should get $800 reimbursed by January if things go right. Worst-case scenario, I'm out of pocket $300, which isn't bad for 4 days in Toronto. Whatever.
Vacation is at hand! I get to drive 16-18 hours with a grandmother and a panic stricken dog tomorrow! I bought sedatives. For them, not me. I'm a responsible driver. I bet I forgot to pack underwear or something. Of course I waited until last night to do all of this.
I'm totally frazzled. I came in to transcribe today and have gotten exactly none of it done. Woo hoo! More work for me when I get back!
