PUPPY IS HOME!

Loooonnngg week with my dad and sister in town.  And they brought my dog!  He's back and I'm glad.  It's always so nice to have something to go home for.

My sister was a little wigged out by the visit, though.  She wanted all of our local to come over to grandma's for dinner, like always.  She was probably thinking that we'd hang out in the basement with my cousins that are our age, telling dirty jokes, playing Nintendo (the original), maybe pulling out a board game or two, while our little cousins who are much younger napped upstairs.

Sadly, time has passed since she's been here.

Our little cousins are now taller than she is and are the ones playing the Nintendo.  The cousins our age were absent due to work or taking care of the new baby, our second cousin.

I was busy fielding questions about the engagement and upcoming wedding plans (of which there are none so far), so I couldn't help out much.

So my poor sister just couldn't understand how things got so different so quickly.  She doesn't do well with change.  :(

I think she'll be glad to be getting home tonight.
