Jan. 21st, 2007 07:46 pmI just saw a commercial for the movie version of Bridge to Terabithia.
This was followed by an acid-like flashback to when I was 10 and had just finished reading the book as I accompanied my mother on a shopping excursion. I sobbed my way from one end of TJ Max to the other.
I wonder if its possible to sue the makers of the film if they foul it up. There has to be some form of retribution for spoiling one of the most beloved childhood stories I remember.
Maybe I just won't see it. I fear nothing will live up to how much I loved that book.
Maybe it'll be as beautiful of a story as I remember.
