Ah, Pain, my old, not-missed friend.

I played soccer this morning because an old teammate of mine embarrassed me with compliments enough that he guilted me into playing.  It went alright for the most part.  I was a half-a-step off for the first half of the first half, but by the end of the game, I was actually playing pretty okay.  But I'll probably be on anti-inflammatories for the next week.  And we lost, too, which sucks.  And it was an 8am game, which sucked even harder.

I spent the rest of the day with an eye on the World Cup action.  How awesome was it that Korea squeaked out a tie with France?!

My students have their midterms this week and have been emailing me non-stop all weekend.  I'm feeling all helpful and like a good teacher, but I bet that half of them fail the exam.  :(

But Dad is in town tomorrow and we're doing lunch and setting up my A/C unit more properly so that I don't waste so much energy and kill myself with mold and other yuckiness coming out of the dirty filter.
