I don't feel very well.
It's kind of a dull, blah day. Which is actually kind of nice
since it has been so hot and sunny for so long, this is a nice break.
I'm almost done with chapter 3. It needs editing. I should really start asking around for a beta reader, but I have this bizarre aversion to asking someone. It's like admitting weakness. But writing is a weakness of mine, so I don't know what the big deal is. It's also a punishment thing. I leave in the typos and errors I discover after posting because they were my mistakes and they should stand because I wasn't smart or good enough to find them before I posted and I should live with my shame of having those mistakes up there under my pen name. I think I should just get over myself.
The stupid fire alarm kept going off in the building today. One of the downsides of being in the same building as the psych department is that I start thinking that any ridiculous thing that happens has to be one of the classes' crazy psychological experiments. But the firemen actually showed up. Not that they were much more successful in getting the stupid alarm to turn off and stay off, but we only lost 20 or so minutes out of the day.
