It's not fair
Sep. 15th, 2005 06:33 pmMore insomnia, more me being tired all day.
I'm really hoping that my little vacation next week will be like pushing my 'reset' button as far as this goes. Or I have to figure out a way to use this insomnia to my advantage. Maybe I can use the time to write or get work done.
I actually worked a little on Chapter Three today. It's going better than I thought it would. I get so intimidated when I sit down to write. I don't get this way when I sit down to do math. Writing is obviously not my strength.
Speaking of writing, I read Strunk and White's Elements of Style and, boy, is my face red! I'm actually not terrible at grammar, but it was embarrassing how much I am completely wrong in how I write. I should reread it until I have it memorized. Very good book, that, and surprisingly engaging considering it's a book about grammar. Recommended to all.
