I hate scary movies

currently playing in the living room, so I'm in my bedroom hiding from
the movie. I've never liked scary movies. They actually
frighten me, and not in a good, thrilling way. I've never seen a
Freddy or Jason or Leatherface movie and never intend to. I do
like the more psychological ones. After several viewings, I can
actually now sit through most of The Ring. But it takes time and effort and I hate scary movies.
I slept okay last night. I lost an hour or two at around 2:30, but I slept in this morning and made up for it. I think that now I know what's wrong with me, it's not so horrible to deal with.
My article is about ready to send off to the journal. The most wonderful, excellent, and fantastic advisor in the whole world managed to fit all the corrections of it into one email. I am the luckiest student to have hooked up with her. She's brilliant and fantastic and the best teacher I've ever encountered. So anytime I start whining about school, I just need someone to whip me up a fresh batch of Shut Up and fling it at me.
Now back to see if I can take any more of the movie.
