I caught an episode of The Office last night. It had James Spader as a potential new boss of the paper company.
He was awesome and oh-so-funny. But the man is aging.
When Stargate (the movie) first came out, I developed a HUGE crush on James Spader. He was cute and geeky and OMG sexy. I caught up on his older movies (Pretty in Pink, sex, lies, & videotape, etc.) and basically stoked the fires of my crush and fangirled him like crazy.
When I saw him last night, I was really surprised at how old and not-so-cute he was. Then I realized that it's been over fifteen years since Stargate came out.
And now I feel incredibly old. :(
Oh well.
Still fanfic-ing, which keeps me young. At least, it keeps me immature. *shrug*
I just finished another Full Metal Panic! fic. Not a drabble, but a stand-alone one shot fic. I'm actually completely in love with it. Therefore, I'm going to sit on it for a week or so before looking over it again for another draft. I want it to be perfect and I want to have the time to make sure I'm saying exactly what I want to say in the story. A lot of times, I get so caught up in the bliss of actually finishing a story that I post it without a lot of extra editing. Most of the time, it's fine. But there are other times where I really should have just gone over it again a few days later to be absolutely sure about my word choice, imagry, etc.
I am happy with it right now, but I hope I can make it even better. :D
