I was at a Starbucks, just having dropped my puppy off to be neutered before I caught the train into the city for school. The lady in line behind me asked the barista if they had a radio and were they listening to the news? Because she heard a plane flew into the WTC, then, another one followed soon after.

Frown and hit the buttons harder. Then look for the number to call to get my money back (which I never actually find/call).
35. Do you consider yourself kind?
Yes. In real life I'm pretty nice.
36. If you had to get a tattoo, where would it be?
I'm planning to get another tattoo. It will be on my back/right shoulder.
37. If you could be fluent in any other language, what would it be?
All of them. Spanish first, since I'm 1/4 there (I know the grammar rules, just need reminding and a larger vocabulary). Then Japanese, then Chinese, and so on.

Right now I'd move for a fucking stranger. I'm ready to move anywhere. So yes, I would (and have) moved for the person I love.

Not on my own. I go with the flow if I'm with a touchy feely person, though.

PMA. Positive mental attitude. Though I get gloomy and down, I'm always ready to believe in the good that can happen.

Monday. I wrote a letter to a search committee chair of a university explaining why I didn't have all of my evaluations to submit to him (they're in storage 1000 miles away) as my "proof of teaching excellence."

Couple of generations. My grandmother has told me stories about my grandfather's family in Germany. Someone ran off with a scullery maid somewhere. Drama!

I dressed up a bit for my presentation at the conference in November. The last formal event was my own wedding.

My legs. They're not happy about running every day. Maybe I'll yoga it today.

Not really. I've had major league crushes that crashed and burned and stung for a few days, but I knew it wasn't real love and moved on without problems.

Easy, my favorite pairings are anyone who is happy and in a fulfilling relationship with their significant others. Like my parents, or certain friends who have happy marriages.
