OMG nom and Disappointing!meme

starzkiOnly a brief entry for today for a variety of reasons.
First, OMG. My Sandman/IY crossover was nominated over at IYFG!
Just knowing that people have managed to find it is an amazing thought. I'm just so completely floored that someone thought it should be nominated, too, it just kind of blows my mind.

Now onto the shipping meme. Today's was confusing to me.
Day 10 - Why aren't these two married in real life?
When I wrote these down in preparation to do this meme, this is what I have next to this question:

I'm a bit confused by this question.
I think it's asking why actors don't also fall in love (and get married and have babies) outside of the parts they play.
I guess my answer is because they are just actors playing parts.
There are some actors that have great chemistry on screen that can't stand one another. Though I haven't seen An Officer and a Gentleman, I hear that the chemistry between Richard Gere and Debra Winger was hot. I also heard they could barely stand to look at one another when the cameras weren't rolling.
Yes, there are some actors that have good screen chemistry that have fallen in love, like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. I suppose I could answer this meme with them as the pairing because they're not married yet. However, I also think they have pretty good reasons for not getting married. I don't know what they are, but if those two who are actually in the relationship think it's a good idea not to be married for the time being, that's good enough for me.
I'm probably just reading too much into this question, but my answer is this: If two people aren't married in real life, the reasons for that are really none of my business.
