Spider update

starzkiAfter a spider-free weekend...
OMG he's totally back! Aaaaah!
So, Mr. Spider just nonchalantly walks up to me as I'm actually making good process on my dissertation today. He was on a horizontal blind right next to my desk. We sized one another up for a few minutes. I explained to him that it would be best if he not look like he's going to jump on me, because doing so would fast lead to his swift execution, even if I didn't mean to. He decided to chill out at the top of the blinds. I decided to leave to the gym to work out.
I came back and... he's gone again. I did have an honest-to-goodness freak-out not two minutes ago when I went to pull my pony tail down and felt something next to the elastic thingy in my hair. It turned out to be a flower that fell from a tree I passed when I walked my dogs.
I just hope that my neighbors didn't call the police. Yeesh.
Now that I've had a nice long look at him and done some Internet searching, he appears to be a regal jumping spider. So I was right. Here is a link to what he looks like for the non-arachniphobic people who read this. *shudder*
