Last complaining post on this, I swear.
Mar. 15th, 2007 12:38 pmI had to spend a substantial part of my night on my sofa again. This is the third night I've had to in a week.
HATE.
Last night, I really, really tried. First, I thought I'd turn on my fan and hoped that a little ambient noise and earplugs would drown out the talking coming from upstairs as my neighbor had some friends come over at 11:30PM and they congregate in the area above my head.
No dice. It didn't work.
Then, I thought that I'd just stay up and wait them out and go to be when she went to bed.
Right. I don't know why I thought that might work, but it sure didn't. Finally, at 2AM, I gave up and slept on my couch.
Then, because a couch is not a bed, I woke up at 6:30 with a severe leg cramp that no amount of stretching was able to unknot. It's six hours later and it still aches.
I've had it. I refuse to live like this. I've gone over my lease and it stipulates that the leasee cannot disturb other tenants in the building. So if nothing else, I have justification for breaking my lease if I need to.
HATE.
