I'm finally getting over the surprisingly strong cold that decided to take me out on the first official day that I have off. It kind of knocked me flat for a few days. Kind of.
But there's nothing like your brother being taken to the fricking ER to put a head cold in perspective. I should shut up about my sniffles. Besides, I have that really husky voice thing happening right now, which I kind of like.
However, since I'm now feeling better, this means that I am way behind on my Christmas duties. I get to join the last minute crush of holiday shoppers today (and probably every day until Christmas) to get the fam presents. I may hold off on buying stuff for my brother. Every time I ask I get, "Mmm. Ugg. I need to throw up. *barf*"
So, yeah. Later.
I may strongly urge the family to go the Secret Santa route next year.
And speaking of Secret Santa, the Secret (Miro)Santa writing was also delayed by the powerful cold. I've officially started it,but it'll be anyone's guess if it actually gets posted in the appropriate time frame.
Bah humbug.
