My oldest and best friend is
flying into the city tomorrow for a visit and I am so excited.
And a little scared. Whenever we're together and left to our own
devices, interesting things tend to happen. The last time she was
in town, I had a hangover that lasted two days. As it is, we'll
probably hit every bar within a three block radius from my
apartment. Which is like 50 bars (I love my neighborhood).
It's almost like we see how much trouble we can possibly get into and then try and find our ways out of it again. It's all fun, though. I just don't think I'm rested enough for a visit from her! It's a good thing that we're both broke, or things would probably be even worse.
So far, I know we're hitting a ballgame. We're going out tomorrow night and Saturday night and Sunday night and probably Monday night. We're hitting downtown at least one of the days and I think there's also a bar-b-que scheduled for Monday.
A good time will be had. I just hope that I remember at least some of it when it's all over. :)
