I should have known
Mar. 27th, 2006 06:45 pmThere is something wrong with my computer. I guess it could be worse. This could be happening right in the middle of prelims instead of right before. The thing is that I don't have the first clue what is wrong with it. I ran all the virus and spyware tests that I have and nothing came up. I called the cable company to see if there was a break in my connection: No. It seems that my computer is trying to actually kill me. I fear I'm about to drop dead of an aneurysm because I've spent the past FOUR HOURS trying to fix this stupid thing instead of doing the work I really, really need to do. You know, nothing in my life has made me cry so much as this stupid computer.
Then, out of the blue, a friend of mine from high school calls me. Not that I mind. I had thought she was mad at me for not flying into town for her wedding reception, but I guess not. Then, of course, I got the whole rundown of everyone we know from high school who is now married with kids.
Me: How... nice... for them.
I really should stop talking to these people. I've never cared and now I just don't want to know.
