I finally feel better.
Thank goodness. I'm eating and moving around like a normal person
again. I'm finally feeling better, but outside, it's in the
single digits. Yikes.
I had my first dental check-up in two years today. It was either my dentist's super sunny personality or the fact that I try and take the time to floss every day, but I got an effusive A+ in dental care. Apparently, I have an impressive set of choppers. :) So I have at least one thing going for me.
My leg injury from, like, five weeks ago has finally darkened into an actual visible bruise and the swelling is almost all gone. I guess it was a really deep injury if it's taken it this long to show up. Eh. I've lost interest in it.
I watched the women's college soccer playoffs yesterday and got totally pumped. Portland won. Yay! I don't think I've every actually even been in Oregon, but good for them. It was a fun game to watch. Sunday, on HBO, they're having a show about the women's first World Cup victory and how they won in the Olympics in '96. I can't wait! I hate, HATE watching sports on television, but I can always watch women's soccer. I find myself living vicariously through their experiences.
Anyway, I was so jazzed by the game yesterday that I actually sat down and wrote a bit on my story. I'm as surprised as anyone by that. I think I may have to go back and read it myself because I've forgotten half the stuff I wrote. But still, progress has been made. :)
