Nice weekend
Sep. 6th, 2011 10:42 amWe had a very nice weekend, complete with a food/music festival in the next town. I also watched Tangled for the third time. It's a totally cute movie and I like how modern it is.
Therefore, yesterday I spent the day looking for, then reading, Tangled lemons.
What!? She's eighteen! It's totally legal, not squicky, and would make perfect sense if she were an anime character and not a Disney princess! DON'T JUDGE ME!!!!
Truthfully, I could only find one actual lemon, but it was a doozy. Well written and in character and actually really hot. And fucking long. I spent the whole afternoon/evening reading it. Here's a link. I also think the author does well with showing how being locked in a tower for 18 years probably means that Rapunzel isn't going to be "all there" socially despite her friendliness and eagerness.
So that was my weekend. :P
