Heh.

Living at my parents' house, scribefigaro and I have just figured out how to download Netflix movies and watch them through the television.  With my parents on vacation, we've been taking the opportunity to find lots of movies to watch.

Last night, there were specific movies we each wanted to watch.  scribefigaro had brought up wanting to watch the Korean movie, Chunhyang, a romance.  However, in looking through the Netflix movies available for immediate watching, I discovered that Scribe has never seen Rudy, one of my favorite movies.

Anyway, I insisted we watch Rudy.  Scribe actually kind of liked it, even though he's no big fan of sports movies.

Once it was over, it was still pretty early, so I was like, "Hey, let's watch that Korean movie, too."

Scribe was like, "Really?"

I responded, "Yeah.  See what happens when you indulge your wife?  You get rewarded!"

He paused, then said, "So what your saying is that if I watch a football movie for you..."

"Yes, I'll watch a foreign-language romance for you."

And then there was much laughing as we realized we don't quite conform to gender stereotypes.
