I have about 5 important things to do today.

Unfortunately, to do these things, I have to get a final okay from one of my committee members about a specific time for the meeting (we've gotten it narrowed down to one day, now we need a specific time for that day!).

ETA: I got the email.  Of course it said that she'd like to do everything via email since I was waiting on her to go to the post office.  Oh well, I did get a couple of things done.  The rest will get done tomorrow.  Then on to the next crisis. :-/
