The lure of fandom
Jul. 19th, 2009 12:45 pmSo. I was banging around mediaminer.org the other day, debating whether I wanted to reread the lemon I posted there months ago (to see if I'm as embarrassed by it now as I was then). Well, I chickened out and instead read another lemon in the Fullmetal Panic section. It was really good ("Fullmetal Panic! Essay Assignment," by Perpetual159 for the curious).
And now I feel sucked back into really loving Fullmetal Panic again. I spent hours yesterday re-watching some of my favorite episodes and swooning over my OTP. It's to the point I want to fanfic.
Aarg!
I have so much writing I need to be doing! Real writing. Writing for my career. Writing to finish stupid school. But noooooo. I want to write about teenagers looking into one another's eyes and holding hands and having first kisses.
What is wrong with me?
