March already?!
Mar. 1st, 2006 11:43 amIt's not a very good start to a new month. Clompy McWoodenshoes above me was at it at the crack of dawn. She wakes me up every morning, but I've discovered that if I shove my earplugs way in so that it presses on my tympanic membrane, I can fall back asleep pretty well (and usually sleep through the alarm clock because I can't hear it). Not this morning though. She was walking so heavy that my bed was vibrating and she kept me awake. I can't blame the whole thing on her, though. Apparently, a bag of popcorn is not a very good dinner and I woke up with my stomach growling as it caved in.
It's also the brother's birthday today. I have to remember to call him tonight. But I won't feel bad if I forget because he forgot mine. We never really have much to say, but we both like anime, so at least that's something. This is the same brother who I called because my dad said he went into the hospital but then refused to tell me why. So I called my brother and asked him. He said he had a dislocated shoulder. I asked how he got a dislocated shoulder and he said that he and his roommate were trying to see how hard they could run into each other's shoulders. End of story. This happened last month. He turns 25 today. Now, I adore my brother, I just worry about him sometimes. He's also going to be taking care of my puppy while the parents go to Switzerland in two weeks. I fear my poor dog will starve.
But the good news is that I'm well on track with prelims. Yay!
