Yeah, I did try to keep the sexy going (it's the whole dang reason I'm writing this fic). You're right: I did want to break up the angst and move it to a more lighthearted space for the couple. But more than anything, a little roadblock to their sexy times was necessary to push them past their shyness and get their hormones working so that whatever happens next will just be because they can't stand not making out for one more second.
And hand holding, especially secret hand holding is unspeakably awesome.
