I looked at fanfic_bakeoff and see that they've had almost a complete mod turnover as well, so here's hoping that comm isn't fraught with wank again. The main thing that turned me off of it was the whole team competition thing, so I might actually consider joining it now (between that and the longer word limit). Hmm...
