Oh, this chapter. It's the one I loved thinking about the most and knew I would hate writing the most.

Basically, it's Sousuke and Kaname finding a home after the zombie apocalypse. They can finally start to relax and learn how to live in this new world and come to realize that they're together. There's nothing keeping them apart any more, so they might as well go for it. I just love the idea that the apocalypse is the catalyst to get Sousuke and Kaname together and admitting their feelings. That's why I chose this song for the chapter title. It kind of really fits this universe:

I have a lot of head canon for this chapter, especially since so much of it had to be cut because it's just detail that doesn't further the story. I liked thinking about how Sousuke and Kaname's daily lives would progress. It would be some world-building fun to include those thoughts, but I had so much to do in this chapter that it will just stay in my head unless people want to ask me about it. I did make some allusions to my thoughts toward the end of the chapter.

This is the chapter where I had to set up the dominoes that I'm going to knock over for the rest of the story. They're definitely going to start falling next chapter! I had to keep a checklist of plot points to be sure to include because they're going to be important later. I did change some of those points (to work better into the story) and moved one of them until next chapter because this was on the verge of getting too exposition-y. I already have a hard enough time in concentrating on "showing" and not "telling," so I think the move might work out. Also, this chapter was long enough!

I hope that it's edited well enough.  I just wanted to post it because it's been so long since I last updated.  I'm sure I'll be embarrassed by my mistakes later. :)
